Recently I found myself in a lobby listening to an audiobook while my wife’s car had new tires put on. Getting tires replaced is not such a big deal except when the ones getting replaced could have lasted longer.

Ever have a verse just define a season of your life? Have you ever read the Bible and had a verse just smack you so hard that you felt like it was written just for you? It was your verse. God had to have been thinking about you when He had it written down because it was so specific to your current situation.
You put the verse on an index card or a sticky note and placed it on your fridge or your bathroom mirror to remind you of that truth every day.
It’s way easier to start things than it is to finish things. It’s a lot of fun to start stuff, but you only get credit for what you finish.

The longer you go without what you need a low grade fever of anger seems to develop. Before you know it you’ll have the dreaded disease of bitterness.
